ICICI Bank staff withdraw users' money, pay ₹2.5 cr to man who found out

An ICICI Bank branch manager and his aides met their performance targets for five years by withdrawing money from customers' bank accounts in Rajasthan, an investigation found. After a man found out about the scam and started blackmailing them, they paid ₹2.5 crore as hush money, Rajasthan Police said. ICICI Bank has suspended the accused and filed complaint with police.
