ICICI Prudential AMC shares fall 5% as promoter sells 2% stake

ICICI Prudential AMC shares fell 5% after promoter Prudential Corp. sold a 2% stake, or 98.85 lakh shares, to meet minimum public shareholding norms. The promoter group's holding will decline from 87.60% to 85.60%. The AMC reported a 23% YoY rise in Q1 FY27 net profit to ₹964.63 crore, while revenue from core operations grew 17.6%.
