Iconic Tiger Hill near Darjeeling under development threat

NGT sent notices to government departments asking them to respond to allegations by an activist that the environmental status of Tiger Hill has deteriorated due to unplanned activities. Tiger Hill, 13 kms from Darjeeling in West Bengal, is a famous viewpoint & home to endangered flora & fauna. "Just to facilitate tourism, Tiger Hill has been concretised," a petitioner said.
