IDB directors recommend firing chief over ethics violation: Reports

The Inter-American Development Bank's board of directors voted unanimously on Thursday to recommend ousting its President Mauricio Claver-Carone, reports stated. The decision reportedly comes after a probe into an alleged romantic relationship between Mauricio and a subordinate found that he probably violated ethics rules. The bank's board of governors will take final decision about firing him.
