Identify other places for protests: Supreme Court as it calls for alternatives to Jantar Mantar

The Supreme Court on Friday asked the government to consider designating an alternative venue to Jantar Mantar for peaceful protests in Delhi. The court stated that the national capital needed a larger, better-equipped space where citizens could exercise their democratic right to protest without compromising public safety, access to emergency services or the interests of other residents.
