IDFC First Bank pays ₹645 crore to settle claims in fraud involving Haryana govt-linked accounts

IDFC First Bank on Tuesday said it has paid ₹645 crore to settle claims linked to a fraud committed by some of its employees in Haryana government-linked accounts. The payout was ₹55 crore more than the original estimates. "There are no...pending claims," it said, adding that its deposit balance remains stable at ₹2.92 lakh crore as of February 28.
