IEDs found in Punjab, Kashmir amid alert over possible Lashkar attack in Delhi

An improvised explosive device (IED) was defused in Punjab’s Amritsar as agencies warned of a possible Lashkar-e-Taiba attack in Delhi. In the past four days, three more IEDs were neutralised in J&K’s Ganderbal, Bandipora and Baramulla. Intelligence agencies warned of possible coordinated strikes on Hindu temples in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, including Akshardham Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
