If Aravalli Hills survive, Delhi will remain lush, green: Akhilesh

Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav said if the Aravalli range survives, Delhi will remain lush and green. “Only the Aravallis can bring back stars that have vanished from Delhi’s skies,” he said. Yadav’s comment comes after Supreme Court accepted Centre’s definition of Aravalli Hills, which said any hills with less than 100 metres elevation are not subject to strictures against mining.
