Warning that the defence pact with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia could draw Turkiye into a conflict it had not chosen, Turkish opposition MP Gulistan Kilic Kocyigit raised questions on the pact in the country's parliament. "If a war breaks out between India and Pakistan, why should Turkiye defend Pakistan? Why should Turkish soldiers die?" she questioned.
