If you are on your way to office, please go home: Twitter tells staff amid layoffs

Twitter will start laying off employees on Friday, a week after Elon Musk acquired the company. "If you are in an office or on your way to an office, please return home," Twitter wrote in an email to its staff. Employees who are being laid off will be notified with the next steps on their personal email accounts, Twitter said.
