If you lose right to vote, you’ll lose govt benefits, warns K'taka CM as SIR begins
Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has warned people, "If you lose the right to vote, you’ll lose government benefits," as the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls began across the state on Tuesday. CM Shivakumar cited the example of West Bengal, stating that "an order has been issued to verify and delete all ineligible ration beneficiaries based on SIR."
