IGL stock up by 7% after Sukhmal Kumar Jain appointed as Chairman

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) appointed Sukhmal Kumar Jain as the Chairman and Additional Director on October 23. He succeeded Arun Kumar Singh, who was the Chairman and Director. At 13:15 pm, IGL's stock was trading 7% higher at ₹409.50 apiece on NSE. Jain has held several leadership positions in retail, LPG and gas verticals of BPCL in his 35-year-long career.
