Ignored heavy neutrino may explain why matter survived: Physicists
Physicists from the UK’s University of Southampton and IIT Kanpur have proposed that a heavy neutrino ignored by most models may explain why matter outlasted antimatter after the Big Bang. Their paper in Physical Review Letters says the slow-decaying particle could have briefly dominated the early universe. The study is theoretical and does not report detecting the particle.
