IISc flags flood threat from Bengaluru tunnel project

An IISc team has flagged a potential flood threat from Bengaluru's proposed Hebbal-Silk Board tunnel project. The six-member team, led by Professor Ashish Verma, submitted a detailed report to the Governor, urging action against the project. The experts also raised concerns over traffic congestion, rising construction costs, toll charges and the project's technical preparedness.
