IIT Bombay creates catalyst for green hydrogen production

A low-cost, highly durable bifunctional catalyst to split water into hydrogen and oxygen has been developed in India. New research from IIT Bombay combined cobalt, nickel, and exfoliated graphite via molecular precursor engineering. The amalgamation creates a noble-metal-free material that paves the way for affordable, large-scale green hydrogen production.
