IIT Bombay denies reports of director’s resignation after student's suicide

IIT Bombay said Director Shireesh Kedare hasn't resigned and called the reports of his resignation "false" after a second-year BTech student died by suicide. This comes after Kedare signed an 18-point charter of student demands and verbally indicated that he was willing to step down following proper institutional processes. IIT Bombay has apologised for earlier statement on the student's suicide.
