IIT-Bombay mulling new rules for students caught cheating after Sahil Wakode's suicide
IIT-Bombay is considering changing rules for students caught cheating in exams after 22-year-old Sahil Wakode died by alleged suicide last month. The proposed rules recommend that a student caught cheating is given a chance to explain before any disciplinary action is taken, NDTV reported. The rule of suspending students for one semester for using unfair means is also being reviewed.
