IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode's parents sit on indefinite hunger strike

Parents of IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode began an indefinite hunger strike at Azad Maidan, demanding the arrest of Professor Suryanarayana Doolla and Director Shireesh Kedare. They planned to protest outside IIT Bombay, but his father was allegedly detained while travelling there. Parents allege Sahil faced caste-based discrimination before dying by suicide. The allegations are being probed.
