IIT Guwahati developing robots to deliver food, medicines to isolation wards

Researchers at IIT Guwahati are developing two robots which can be deployed for delivery of food, medicine and collection of contagious waste in COVID-19 isolation wards. "The prototypes will be ready within two weeks, following which a test run will be conducted," a team member said. "Once done, the plan is to make robot-based screening units too," the member added.
