IIT Kanpur’s AI system helps Andhra Pradesh identify welfare needs

IIT Kanpur developed an AI system to help Andhra Pradesh identify households needing welfare support. The Family Score system uses existing government data, offering a faster, cost-effective alternative to traditional socio-economic surveys. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the system for enabling targeted welfare delivery.
