IIT Kanpur students develop drone called ‘Prahari’

IIT Kanpur students have developed a drone called 'Prahari' which can carry up to five kg weight and monitor sensitive zone for three hours continuously. It consists of a drone catching net and an autonomous system with an unmanned helicopter that can outrun and capture rogue drones. It has reportedly been designed especially for border surveillance and national security.
