IIT Kharagpur develops faster model for self-healing materials

Researchers at IIT Kharagpur have developed a mathematical tool that predicts how self-healing smart materials autonomously repair themselves when damaged. Developed by Jayram Desai and Vikranth Racherla, the simulations run 1000 times faster than traditional computer simulations, helping engineers design durable structures.
