IIT Madras making 9-language enabled text-to-text AI: Director

IIT Madras Director V Kamakoti said, as part of MeitY's Bhashini initiative, the institute is developing a nine-language enabled text-to-text translator to bridge the language gap in India. He said ultimately the aim is to develop a text-to-speech translator. He added that over a period of time, the algorithm learns and eventually, the artificial intelligence affects the translation.
