IIT Madras students protest after PhD scholar's death, video out

Students of IIT Madras staged a protest demanding the suspension of a PhD supervisor after a PhD scholar, Sachin Jain, allegedly died by suicide on March 31. A video of the protest has surfaced online. Jain's family had claimed that the supervisor put pressure on him. Posters demanding justice for Jain have also come up on the institute's campus.
