IIT-Madras unveils new basketball-inspired three-team game 'Phiball'

IIT-Madras on Friday launched 'Phiball', a new version of a basketball game combined with netball, ahead of National Sports Day on August 29. Played on a circular court, the game features three seven-player teams, with each team attacking two opponent baskets and defending one. Each game has three eight-minute quarters and scoring ranges from one to three points.
