IIT Roorkee asks students to not post in support of CJP protest, issues clarification later

An IIT Roorkee advisory reportedly asking students to not post anything on social media in support of ongoing protests by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) surfaced on social media. It also asked students to not participate in any political discussion without permission. Later, IIT Roorkee issued a clarification, stating the advisory is routinely issued every year and should not be misinterpreted.
