IIT Ropar's Annam.AI to roll out 100 weather stations in Punjab

IIT Ropar's Annam.AI is deploying 100 AI-based weather stations across Punjab to help farmers get real-time weather updates and decide whether to water, plant, or protect their crops. This initiative aims to reduce 7-9% crop losses linked to unpredictable weather, according to The Times of India. Alongside the rollout, Annam.AI is launching an AI training program for 10,000 students.
