IIT-KGP alumni's fintech startup smallcase raises ₹56 crore

Fintech startup 'smallcase' has raised ₹56 crore ($8 million) in Series A funding round led by Sequoia India. Investors including Blume Ventures and Beenext also participated in the round. Co-founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni Vasanth Kamath, Rohan Gupta and Anugrah Shrivastava in 2015, the Bengaluru-based startup helps users invest in professionally built stock baskets called 'smallcases'.
