IIT-M-incubated startup makes portable hospital unit for COVID-19 patients

IIT Madras-incubated startup, Modulus Housing, has developed a portable hospital unit, 'MediCAB', that can be installed anywhere within two hours by four people. It is equipped with 15 beds and is water, fire and termite-resistant. The structure has built-in bathrooms and electricals, exhausts with industrial dome, air conditioning, fans and lighting. Six such units can be transported in a truck.
