IKEA to open 1st small-format city store in India in Mumbai by end of 2021

World's biggest furniture retailer IKEA has said it'll open its first city or small-format store in India at Kamala Mills in Mumbai's Worli area towards the end of 2021. The traditional big IKEA blue box is 4,00,000-5,00,000 square feet, but the Worli store will be around 80,000 square feet. Earlier, IKEA opened two large-format stores in Hyderabad and Navi Mumbai.
