Ilhan Omar's brother, whom Trump claims she had married, describes himself as gay man

US lawmaker Ilhan Omar's brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, whom US President Donald Trump claims she had married, described himself as a "gay man" in an academic paper published this year. He said this in the paper titled, "Out in the Field: Notes on Researching Queer Violence in Kenya". Omar allegedly married him to help him obtain legal immigration status.
