Illegal chambers near Lucknow court demolished, lawyers pelt stones at police

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation carried out an anti-encroachment drive to demolish around 240 illegal chambers and structures set up by lawyers and vendors outside the Civil Court premises in Kaiserbagh. The demolition was ordered by the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court. The protesting lawyers clashed with the police and pelted stones, prompting a lathi charge for crowd dispersal.
