Illegal loggers kill indigenous forest guardian in Brazil

Paulo Paulino Guajajara, member of an indigenous group that was formed to protect the forest in Brazil, was killed by illegal loggers, leaders of the Guajajara tribe said. Another Guajajara, Laercio, was wounded but escaped, they said. "Increase in violence in indigenous territories is a direct result of his [Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro] hateful speeches," indigenous organisation APIB said.
