Illegal portion of Noori Jama Masjid bulldozed in UP

Illegally constructed portion of Noori Jama Masjid in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur was demolished by district administration and PWD on Tuesday. "PWD had issued a notice to the committee on 17 August regarding the illegal construction. [In] September...the Masjid Management Committee said that they would demolish the illegal construction themselves, but failed to do so," the UP government said.
