I'm the first transgender woman to win Grammy: Kim Petras

Kim Petras and Sam Smith accepted the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award for their song 'Unholy' at the Grammy Awards. While accepting the award, Kim said, "Sam graciously wanted me to accept this...because I'm the first transgender woman to win [it]." She thanked other trans performers who came before her and paved the way for this win.
