IMA declares nationwide hunger strike on Oct 15 to support WB doctors

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) announced a nationwide hunger strike on October 15 in support of doctors in West Bengal. This comes as junior doctors' hunger strike in the state entered the ninth day on Sunday, with three hospitalised so far. The doctors are protesting over the rape-murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Hospital.
