IMD forecasts rain, thunderstorms in Delhi on July 6; orange alert issued

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued an orange alert for Delhi-NCR, forecasting moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of up to 50 kmph on Monday, July 6. The weather agency also said rainy conditions are likely to continue across the region for the next four days. The monsoon reached Delhi on July 2.
