IMD issues 5-day thunderstorm warning across India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a five-day thunderstorm warning throughout the country. The forecast predicts thunderstorm with squall will hit West Bengal and Sikkim on Thursday, and heavy rain is expected in at least 10 states including Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The forecast has also predicted heat wave conditions in Vidarbha and Odisha.
