IMD issues 'red' warning for Delhi as cold wave conditions continue

India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued a 'red' warning for Delhi as cold wave conditions continued unabated. The red colour indicates extreme weather conditions. The warning pertained to the weekend after parts of the national capital recorded a temperature of 1.9 degrees on Saturday morning. Flight operations and train services in Delhi were also affected due to dense fog.
