IMD issues yellow alert for rain, thunderstorms in Kolkata from May 29-30

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph in Kolkata on May 29 and 30. The weather agency also predicted the possibility of light rain in the city today and tomorrow. Day temperatures are expected to remain around 35-36°C before dipping slightly by May 29-30, while nights will stay warm and humid.
