IMD launches portal to aid climate change mitigation in India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) launched the Climate Data Service Portal (CDSP) on the occasion of World Meteorological Day on March 23. According to IMD, CDSP will help researchers and the government in climate change studies, planning and mitigation strategies and offer early warning to people. Statistical analysis of meteorological data on the portal is still under development.
