IMD predicts very heavy rainfall in Goa, CM puts administration on high alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted "very heavy rainfall' in Goa over the next couple of days. "I have directed the state administration to be on high alert and to immediately spring into action for taking all precautionary measures and prepare for the oncoming showers," CM Pramod Sawant said. CM also requested people to be on alert.
