The India Meteorological Department has issued 'Red' alert for Bihar as heavy to extremely heavy rain (more than 204.4 mm) is expected in the region. Meanwhile, 'Orange' alert has been issued in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya and Uttarakhand, with heavy to very heavy rainfall (115.6 mm to 204.4 mm) expected in these states.
