IMD releases names for upcoming cyclones in 13 countries; include Arnab, Vyom, Aag

The India Meteorological Department today issued a new list of names of tropical cyclones over north Indian Ocean. The list has a total of 169 names including 13 names each from 13 WMO/ESCAP member countries. Some of the names for Bangladesh include Arnab, Nisarga and Upakul among others, while names like Aag, Vyom and Gati have been chosen for India.
