IMD has issued a pre-cyclone watch for Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts after warning that a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal may intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 26 morning. The system could reach Andhra Pradesh coast by October 28. Extremely heavy to heavy rainfall is forecast for coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha between October 27–29.
