IMF cuts India's GDP growth forecast sharply from 9% to 8.2% for FY23
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has sharply cut India's GDP growth forecast for FY23 to 8.2% from 9%, citing Russia-Ukraine war. "Economic damage from the conflict will contribute to a significant slowdown in global growth in 2022 and add to inflation," the IMF said in its World Economic Outlook report. IMF cut its global growth outlook for 2022 to 3.6%.
