Immune barrier from vaccines against COVID-19 still far off: WHO

WHO spokesperson Dr Margaret Harris has said that vaccines are a great tool but the "effect of the vaccine in providing some kind of immune barrier is still far off". She added that public health measures are needed to prevent an uptick in COVID-19 cases. On Tuesday, UK began administering the first doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to its citizens.
