In 1st address, PM Tarique Rahman vows to turn Bangladesh into safe land for Hindus

In his first address, newly-elected Bangladeshi PM Tarique Rahman vowed to turn the country into safe land for minorities including Hindus. "Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians- regardless of party, opinion, religion, or ethnicity- whether living in the hills or the plains, this country belongs to all of us," said the 60-year-old. This comes amid surge in violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.
