In a 1st, DU Vice Chancellor gets appointed for 2nd term

The Centre has reappointed Yogesh Singh as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, making him the first Vice Chancellor in the university's history to secure a second consecutive term. His reappointment follows a 2023 amendment by the Centre that removed the provision barring vice chancellors from being reappointed. Singh was first appointed as DU Vice Chancellor in 2021.
