In a first, UPI crosses 800 million daily transactions

The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) recorded a record 802 million average daily transactions in September, crossing the 800-million mark for the first time. It processed 24.07 billion transactions worth ₹29.37 lakh crore during the month. The daily average rose from 791 million in August and 763 million in July. UPI completed 10 years on August 25.
